New Project: Cards

1

I've gone card-crazy. I decided one of my 2011 resolutions is to send more cards. My good friend Lindsey has recently started sending more cards and it's so fun getting snail mail! So although my craft-stash is pretty pathetic right now, I've still gone completely card-crazy.

I went to Target and got a box of 200 blank cards & envelopes of all different colors. I started with just a metallic marker saying "Congratulations!" or "Happy Birthday!" and then I realized I have one (sad) bag of ribbon scraps I got for $2 at Hobby Lobby & a remnant piece of scrapbook paper (yes, just one - told you my stash is sad right now!!). With a little double stick tape I soon was a card-decorating machine!!! They certainly aren't exhilarating by any means, but they are fun to make and I am excited to have them on hand, ready for every Birthday & Congratulatory Event. Here's a peek of a few that I did:

So many cards!!!!

Probably my favorite to date :-) Play on words! One of my favorite
FEBRUARY BIRTHDAY GIRLS will be getting this one!!!!
What have you created lately? Would you like a birthday card from me? If I don't have it already, e-mail me your address and your birthday and I'll be sure you get one :-) There's nothing like getting a hand-made card on your birthday from a friend!!!

  1. Jess, I just received a huge amount of craft paper and scrapbooking supplies that I will never use. Lets get together and go thru it and see what you can use. I hate for it to go to waste.
