Miscellaneous Monday

This weekend Hubs rocked the paint roller and painted our bedroom! I don't have final photos yet, as we're still working on a few finishing touches but it is this beautiful Smokey Blue by Behr:

I LOVE it!! Our home already feels warmer having some color on the walls!

While he rocked the paint, I worked on a few projects for Billy's room, though none of them are photo-ready yet.

One of the projects was inspired by this nursery, but I'm not telling you what part....

The other my best buddy Lindsey came over to help me with:

...and our focus became more conversation than painting, so they may not make an appearance on the blog.

Lindsey did a phenomenal job painting for me, I just was too exhausted by the time the detailing came into play that my sloppy craftsmanship got the best of me... unfortunately.

Needless to say, the photo above is my inspiration photo. When you see the real thing, don't be afraid to laugh. I am aware of how sad they are. It's the thought that counts, and they will do their job in organizing my son's clothing!!! The colors are phenomenal because I used the leftovers from the Wall Art project!

That said, you may not hear much else from me this week because all of our home projects are in the "too awkward to photograph" stages. Stay tuned for some fun before and afters in the coming weeks, I promise!
