We've gone to the movies, visited with family, taken down the tree, shampooed the carpets, tidied up the house and gotten some much-needed grocery shopping done. It feels so wonderful to have the time to get everything done I have been wanting to do without stressing or exhausting myself! I've left PLENTY of time every day for relaxing and naps, don't worry! Billy is thankful for that.
After we splurged at Costco today we went to Carter's for a few Billy PJs. I am on the hunt for some baby-sized Santa onesies but they were already gone today.
I am trying to keep the buying under control, and so far I feel like we barely have anything. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for winter clearance items in 9-12 month sizes just to plan ahead for next year.
Per the suggestions of my mom and my MIL boys typically wear at least one size up (between their five boys all did) so snowsuits and sweaters in 9-12 month sizes will be a great investment when they go on mega-clearance in the next few months.
Meanwhile, my next project (of course for Billy's room) is sitting in the hobby room waiting for me to get started - I can't wait to show you!
Tomorrow Hubs and I are going crib shopping. Everything is becoming more and more real...and I keep pinching myself when I realize we are HAVING A BOY! Baby Billy is on the way. Oh my gosh. God is good :)
