Happily Ever After: Heidi & Joey

My beautiful best friend Heidi is tying the knot next week in St. John, USVI and I couldn't be more excited for her. Her amazing sisters hosted her Bachelorette Party this past Saturday night and everyone had SUCH a blast! We rented a limo and everything - we went all out for Heidi!!! She deserves it.

Heidi and I met when we were 9, she had a horse shirt on (we were in the same 5th grade class) so I said "I have a horse. Do you like horses?" and when she said "I have a horse too!" it was destiny that we would be best friends. There was also an incident at the lunch table where she stuck a piece of her sandwich in my ear after I specifically told her she couldn't and then we were really friends - this story I cannot confirm nor deny ;-)

My bridesmaids got me a hoodie for the honeymoon and I still wear it now - all the time! I absolutely love it, when I wear it out moms and grandmas stop me and give me a smile while they say "Congratulations!" and it brings back all of those wonderful feelings of when Bill and I tied the knot 7 short months ago. I feel every bride should have one, so I made one for Heidi :)

Needless to say, we've been through a lot together and I'm so excited to share this experience with her as she marries the perfect man for her, her best friend and her soulmate, Joey. Bill and I are excited to join everyone in St. John next week and celebrate the marriage of Heidi and Joey!! She even let me design her save the date cards and wedding invites for this island affair - what a wonderful treat!!!
