Valentine's Day 2013: Basket of Love

1

Happy Valentine's Day!!! I hope you are sharing it with the one you love! Hubs and I celebrated by going to dinner last night, and this morning I gave him his special surprise – a gift basket full of love and treats!

I got the idea from Six Sisters' Stuff and knew Bill would love the combination of puns and edible goodies.

Again, I'm still learning my camera and I had to snap these pics very sneakily while Bill was out of the house one evening, so forgive my lack of skills! I swear my photos will get better in time...

Goldfish!
Chap Stick
Mints
Nuts
Hot Tamales
Gum
Not a stout, but his favorite ale :)
Couldn't find Combos so Gardetto's won!
Chex Mix
Gummi Bears
It's not Valentine's without chocolate!!

Plus a lovely "Love" balloon

Ta-da!!
Finished product

My card making/scrapbooking supplies are still pretty slim, so I utilized all I had with markers, paper, stickers, stamps, ink and bakers twine. I am very pleased with the result!

This was a fun project to create because each card was unique and at the end of the day, it was for my one and only so every minute I spent on it I knew would be appreciated.

How do you and your honey celebrate Valentine's Day?
